Where does India stand after victory over England in ODI series?

India defeated England in the third and final ODI by seven runs and recorded their first series win in the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League. Following their triumph, Virat Kohli’s men climbed to the seventh spot in the ICC points table.

The Men in Blue now have earned 29 points to their name after playing two series in the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League. As for England, Sam Curran‘s brilliance with the bat ensured they retained their pole position.

Australia have the same points as England, but due to the net run rate being lower than that of Eoin Morgan’s men, they are at the second spot.

With 40 points in nine matches, England holds the number one position. India overtook Pakistan by registering their third win in the ICC Super League.

What’s next for India and England in the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League?

In the year 2021, Team India’s ODI schedule is not yet out. However, the Men in Blue will likely visit Sri Lanka for a 50-over series. A home series against New Zealand is also on the cards.

As for England, they will play their next ICC Cricket World Cup Super League series against Sri Lanka at home. Following that, England will welcome Pakistan for another series.
