We ‘can’t press pause on Australia’s recovery’ from the COVID-19 recession: Morrison

Prime Minister Scott Morrison says “we can’t press pause on Australia’s recovery from the COVID-19 recession”, reaffirming his government’s commitment to partner with the Berejiklian government on key infrastructure projects and jobs growth.

Speaking at the Bradfield Oration on the future of Sydney, Mr Morrison said his government supported some of Sydney’s biggest and most transformative projects including the $5.3 billion Western Sydney International Nancy Bird-Walton Airport.

“We’re working with the Berejiklian government in NSW to fast track many more important infrastructure projects and plans.

“This is within a national spend on what we’re building of $110 billion over the next 10 years.”
