Tennessee Lady Vols tennis to host Wake Forest

The University of Tennessee women’s tennis team will be in action at home Sunday.
The No. 25 Lady Vols will host No. 16 Wake Forest in a nonconference match at the Goodfriend Tennis Center.
Action begins at noon EST.
The Lady Vols enter Sunday’s match with a record of 4-1, while the Demon Deacons are 2-1 heading into the match.
UT had mixed results in its last competition as it split a pair of matches at last weekend’s ITA Kickoff Weekend.
The Lady Vols played two teams from the ACC in that event, losing to No. 10 Virginia 4-1 and shutting out Syracuse 4-0.
Tennessee and Wake Forest have met 30 times over the years with the Demon Deacons holing a 16-14 advantage in the all-time series.
The Lady Vols are 9-5 in dual matches against the Demon Deacons in Knoxville.
