Tampa Bay Buccanneers v Kansas City Chiefs how to watch Australia, start time, halftime show, scores, odds, stream

This year’s halftime headliner doesn’t command the superstar status of, say, a Beyonce or even a Gronk, but he’s having his moment.

The 30-year-old Canadian, real name Abel Tesfaye, is perhaps best known for his inescapable hits Can’t Feel My Face and Starboy, and was responsible for last year’s brooding Blinding Lights, which held the #1 spot on the ARIA charts for 11 weeks, more than any other single all year.

The Grammy winner’s also made a number of startling appearances during his recent fourth album cycle After Hours, based on a persona launched in his music video for Heartless – a red-suited incarnation who first appeared bloodied, then bandaged, then boasting botched plastic surgery at awards shows and TV performances.

It’s apparently some lofty comment around celebrity vanity and our obsession with fame (or something), but considering his lengthy dedication to the Kaufman-esque conceit I’d be surprised if it didn’t make a creepy cameo at halftime.
