Steph Curry’s most impressive shot on a night he scored 40 points came after the game.
The Warriors star saved his best once the clock hit zero in Golden State’s 111-105 win over the Orlando Magic on Thursday night at Chase Center, casually draining an underhand 3-pointer.
Just when you think you’ve seen it all watching the two-time NBA MVP, he goes ahead and does that.
Curry’s 40-point performance shouldn’t be reduced to a footnote, nor should his 10-of-19 shooting on 3-pointers (11-of-20, if you count the underhand make). But it has to be in this blog, considering how routine those kind of nights are becoming for the two-time NBA MVP.
Through six games in February, Curry is averaging 37.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 5.3 assists. He’s shooting 56.8 percent from the field, 50.3 percent from behind the 3-point line and 94.6 percent from the free-throw line.
That all seems ho-hum compared to the ridiculous shot Curry hit after Thursday night’s win, though.
