During the 11th week of the SEC’s 2020 season, Alabama defeated LSU 55-17, Florida defeated Tennessee 31-19, Kentucky defeated South Carolina 41-18, Missouri defeated Arkansas 50-48 and Texas A&M defeated Auburn 31-20. Here are 10 numbers about the SEC’s Week 11 games:

1 Player in SEC history has four 200-yard receiving games after Alabama WR DeVonta Smith caught eight passes for 231 yards and three TDs in a 55-17 victory over LSU on Saturday. Before that game, Smith had been one of five SEC players with three 200-yard receiving games. Alabama WR Amari Cooper in 2014, LSU WR Ja’Marr Chase in 2019 and Ole Miss WR Elijah Moore in 2020 have had three 200-yard receiving games in one season. The other SEC player with three 200-yard receiving games in his career is Vanderbilt WR Earl Bennett, with one each in 2005, 2006 and 2007. On Oct. 31, Smith caught 11 passes for 203 yards and four TDs in a 41-0 victory over Mississippi State. Last season, Smith had 11 receptions for 274 yards and five TDs in a 59-31 victory over Ole Miss on Sept. 28 and seven receptions for 213 yards and two TDs in a 46-41 loss to LSU.

2 SEC players reached 1,000 rushing yards and two reached 3,000 passing yards for the 2020 season on Saturday. South Carolina RB Kevin Harris had 210 yards and one TD on 21 rushing attempts in a 41-18 loss to Kentucky to lift his season total to 1,138 yards, and Alabama RB Najee Harris had 145 yards and three TDs on 21 rushing attempts in a 55-17 victory over LSU to lift his season total to 1,038 yards. Kevin Harris recorded his second 200-yard rushing game of 2020. The only other SEC player with a 200-yard rushing game this season is Najee Harris. Florida QB Kyle Trask completed 35-of-49 passes for 433 yards with four TDs and no interceptions in a 31-19 victory over Tennessee to lift his season total to 3,243 yards, and Alabama QB Mac Jones completed 20-of-28 passes for 385 yards with four TDs and no interceptions in a 55-17 victory over LSU to lift his season total to 3,113 yards. Last season, LSU QB Joe Burrow was the only SEC player to reach 3,000 passing yards. The conference had eight 1,000-yard rushers in 2019, including Najee Harris.

2 Games in the nation this season have featured a quarterback who has passed for more than 365 yards without throwing for a TD. Missouri QB Connor Bazelak did it in a 50-48 victory over Arkansas on Saturday by completing 32-of-49 passes for 380 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions. The other game came on Oct. 24, when Alabama QB Mac Jones completed 25-of-31 passes for 387 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions in a 48-17 victory over Tennessee. There haven’t been more than two such games in the nation in any season since 2013, when there were three. Bazelak picked up 150 of his passing yards in the fourth quarter, when Missouri scored 24 points to rally from a 14-point deficit. Bazelak completed four straight passes for 54 yards as the Tigers moved 65 yards in 43 seconds to win on Harrison Mevis’ 32-yard field goal on the game’s final snap.

3 SEC players have had 9,000 passing yards and 1,500 rushing yards and four SEC players have had 60 passing TDs and 20 rushing TDs in their careers after Texas A&M QB Kellen Mond joined both groups on Saturday. In the Aggies’ 31-20 victory over Auburn, Mond completed 18-of-23 passes for 196 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions and ran for 60 yards and one TD on 10 carries. Mond completed the game with career totals of 9,148 passing yards, 1,514 rushing yards, 70 TD passes and 20 TD runs. The only other SEC players with 9,000 passing yards and 1,500 rushing yards in their careers are Florida QB Tim Tebow (2006-09) and Mississippi State QB Dak Prescott (2012-15). Tebow and Prescott also are two of the three other players with 60 passing TDs and 20 rushing TDs, along with Texas A&M QB Johnny Manziel (2012-13).

3 Rushing TDs were scored by RB Najee Harris and three TD passes were caught by WR DeVonta Smith in Alabama’s 55-17 victory over LSU on Saturday, making it the first game in the Crimson Tide’s history in which it had a player with three rushing TDs and another with three receiving TDs.

3 Tennessee scoring series covered at least 94 yards on Saturday. The Volunteers moved 96 yards in 11 plays for a second-quarter TD and had fourth-quarter drives of 94 yards on 11 plays and 96 yards on 13 plays. Despite the sustained success and a 7:30 advantage in time of possession, Tennessee still lost to Florida 31-19. Outside the three TD marches, the Volunteers offense netted 48 yards on 31 snaps.

17 Tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack and one forced fumble were recorded by Auburn LB Zakoby McClain in the Tigers’ 31-20 loss to Texas A&M on Saturday. No other player in the nation can match that stat line this season, and only three reached those figures in a game in 2019. The most recent SEC player to post a defensive stat line that matches McClain’s in a non-overtime game is LSU LB Kevin Minter, who had 20 tackles, three tackles for loss, two sacks and one forced fumble in a 14-6 loss to Florida in 2012.

20 TDs for Alabama RB Najee Harris and 38 passing TDs for Florida QB Kyle Trask in the 2020 season. They have more of those kinds of scores nine games into a season than any other players in SEC history. Harris is the first player in the nation to have 20 TDs nine games into a season since Western Michigan’s Jarvion Franklin had 22 in 2014. Harris is the sixth player nationally with at least 20 rushing TDs after nine games in this century. The only players in major-college football history with more passing TDs than Trask nine games into a season are Houston QB Andre Ware with 40 in 1989 and Hawaii QB Colt Brennan with 39 in 2006.

24 Years since the previous game in which an opponent scored at least 50 points against LSU. On Saturday, Alabama defeated the Tigers 55-17 with 650 yards of total offense, the most given up in a game by an LSU defense this century. The last time a team scored that many points against LSU came on Oct. 12, 1996, when Florida defeated the Tigers 56-13. Saturday’s output made Alabama the first SEC team to score at least 40 points in eight consecutive conference regular-season games and pushed the Crimson Tide’s point total for 2020 to 443, the most that have been scored against SEC opponents in one regular season. Alabama’s Saturday total also marked the most points that it had scored in its 85 games against LSU. While the Tide has beaten the Tigers worse than it did on Saturday, the 38-point margin of victory was Alabama’s largest over LSU in an SEC game. Alabama defeated LSU 47-3 in 1922 and 42-0 in 1925, but those were Southern Conference games.

206 Receiving yards for Arkansas WR Treylon Burks and 172 rushing yards for Arkansas RB Trelon Smith – the most yards in each of those categories that any Razorbacks have ever gained in the school’s 12 games against Missouri. Despite the record-breaking performances, Arkansas lost to the Tigers 50-48. Burks caught 10 passes, including a TD, in surpassing the 122 yards that Jordan Jones accumulated on two receptions in a 48-45 loss to Missouri in 2017. Burks recorded Arkansas’ first 200-yard receiving game since Cobi Hamilton set an SEC record with 303 receiving yards against Rutgers in 2012. Smith had three TDs among his 26 rushing attempts as he surpassed the 141 yards gained on the ground by Cedric Cobbs in a 27-14 victory over the Tigers in the 2003 Independence Bowl.
