The trials take place inside, in the controlled and secure environment of a hockey arena, part of the Luzhniki sports complex in Moscow. The prototype presented to the media is a two-seater, but the final vehicle could be used as a flying taxi as well as a delivery drone. The inventor and founder of Hoversurf, Alexandre Atamanov, says he has a permit from the Moscow city hall to carry out outdoor tests in real conditions this spring at the Skolkovo technology park, in the suburbs. He believes his flying vehicles will fly over Moscow as early as 2023.
