Rhea Ripley made her official WWE main roster debut at the 2021 Royal Rumble pay-per-view by competing in the Women’s Rumble Match. With the WrestleMania season coming around, it was believed that WWE could use her on the main roster, big-time especially on Raw. But she is yet to be seen on either Raw or SmackDown brand since that big moment leaving the fans wondering about her future.
Ringside News has now provided an update regarding her future. The source has learned that Rhea Ripley’s name has come up in creative meetings, recently but it was not just for one brand. The company has apparently tried to fit her into both the Raw and SmackDown side by pitching ideas. But as of this writing, they couldn’t come with any definite plan for her.
So it’s safe to say that there’s no certainty about Rhea Ripley debuting on the main roster, this early. She was the last woman to be eliminated in the Women’s Royal Rumble match, and going by that we can only assume that the company must be having plans to present her in a force to be reckoned with in due course. But for now, Bruce Prichard and his team are still trying to figure things out.
Rhea Ripley isn’t assigned to any brand
Ringside News previously reported that WWE wasn’t talking about a Women’s Elimination Chamber match, this year. If that match was in the pipeline then Rhea Ripley could’ve got an opportunity to showcase her brute force inside that steel cage structure especially given that she’s a prior experience to compete inside the WarGames cage. But that won’t be the case.
All we can say is that Rhea Ripley has arrived on the WWE main roster now, but she is yet to be assigned to any specific brand, right now. Hopefully, the decision could be made sooner than later so that she gets the opportunity to perform in two straight WrestleManias. Going by her recent social media activities, she could likely be sporting a new look when fans see her next on TV.
As seen in her latest picture, Rhea Ripley showed off a new hairstyle and a possible new ring gear over on Instagram. The caption of the photo read “I’m an odd combination of “Really Sweet” and “Don’t Mess With Me!” Interestingly, she was showing off her tattooed legs which were previously covered due to WWE’s edict to cover them up.
