Pistons – Kings: Delon Wright trade grades

Wright is having a solid season, averaging five dimes, 1.6 steals and nearly a three per contest.

But with the Pistons rebuilding, they’d rather have the future picks and Joseph’s contract next season isn’t fully guaranteed. So they could buy him out for a low price if they choose next year .. or they could hold on to the vet also known for his defense and deal him next year.

It’s sort of a lateral move that gains them some picks, so as you’ll see in a second, I think it’s sort of a win-win for both sides.
