Online ticket sales for India-Eng 2nd test to commence tomorrow

Chennai, Feb 7 (UNI) With the Tamil Nadu government allowing

50 per cent public entry for sporting activities, including cricket,

online sale of tickets will commence tomorrow for the second

cricket test between India and England to be played here from

February 13 to 17.

Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) Secretary R S Ramasaamy

in a release here said tickets for general public will be sold only

through online www.paytm.com & www.insider.in , Paytm App and

Paytm Insider App from 1000 hrs onwards tomorrow.

There will be no Counter/Box Office sales.

The daily ticket prices for ‘C, D, E’ Lower stands are priced

at Rs 100, for ‘D, E’ Upper stands Rs 150, for F, H, I, J, K’

Lower stands Rs 150 and for ‘I,J,K’ Upper stands Rs 200.

The redemption of online tickets will be from 1000 hrs on

February 11 at Booth No.3 located on Victoria Hostel Road.

Wearing face mask and maintaining social distancing are

mandatory during visit for redemption of tickets.

It may be recalled that though the State government has extended

the corona pandemic lockdown till February 28, it had annnounced

several relaxations, which included allowing spectators to watch

the sporting activities including cricket.

The ongoing first test is being held behind closed doors and for

the first time cricket fans would be allowed at the MA Chidambaram

Stadium for the second test after the pandemic.
