‘Merry Christmas!’ How Dominic Thiem, Eugenie Bouchard, and Other Top Tennis Players Are Celebrating Christmas

Today is one of the most auspicious days of the year – Christmas. Tennis players around the world are currently at their homes celebrating this festival. However, they are all are celebrating it in different ways. Here are some of them.

As you can see in the above post, Felix Auger-Aliassime is spending his Christmas wrapping presents. Unlike most people, he decided to do it all by himself and he’s clearly good at it. Unfortunately for him, he ended up dropping the present soon after he wrapped it.

Moving on, Diego Schwartzman is spending Christmas with his girlfriend Eugenie De Martino. Karolina Pliskova is also spending the day with her partner and together, they decorated an beautiful Christmas tree. Check it out.

Some other players who also shared how they were spending Christmas were Ana Ivanovic and Eugenie Bouchard. Ivanovic is spending it with her husband and she shared a picture of it. She also sent everyone a message saying that they should enjoy the day despite the situation with the coronavirus pandemic.

Moving onto Bouchard, she shared an adorable photograph of her with a Santa Claus hat on the tennis court. Her fans surely enjoyed seeing that.

Moving on, Dominic Thiem, Caroline Wozniacki and Angelique Kerber also shared how they were spending the day. On Instagram, they all shared photographs of them behind beautiful Christmas trees.

The 2021 Tennis Season

After a terrible year plagued by the coronavirus pandemic, tennis players are surely glad to be celebrating Christmas. However, the celebration is not going to last long as a lot of them have to get back to training for the 2021 season.

They will start their season at different events. However, in February all of them will be traveling to play the Australian Open – the first Grand Slam of the year. Many players like Dominic Thiem are looking to win their first title there and we will have to wait and see if he succeeds in doing so.
