Men’s Tennis Achieves Highest Ranking Ever

The NCAA’s latest updated rankings for men’s tennis have been released and Pacific finds themselves as a team in 4th place in the West Region. The 4th place team ranking is the highest ranking the Pacific program has ever received in the West Region.
Not only did Pacific receive a ranking in the West Region as a team, the Boxers also were able to get a #3 ranking in doubles for the West Region with the team of Quentin Gonzalez and Sean Murphy.
Coach Pete Yellico had this to say about the team’s rankings, “I’m really proud of our highest ranking ever in the West Region. Being at the top is a huge accomplishment for our program. I was happy to see that Sean and Quentin were ranked #3 in doubles. This is an outstanding result and they are on track to finish the season really strong. I’m really proud of them and look forward to the rest of the season.”
Joining Pacific in the West Region rankings is George Fox at #3 and Whitman at #5.
