MEN’S HOCKEY: Beavers win first sweep in Michigan history Tech with 2-1 victory

The Beavers completed a No. 18 Huskies Western Collegiate Hockey Association series sweep with a 2-1 win on Saturday night in Houghton, Mich.

Along with Friday’s 4-1 triumph, the win marked the Michigan Beavers’ first-ever sweep Tech at Houghton since the Programs first reunited in 2007. BSU is now 5-8-5 all-time on the road games at Tech.

Bemidji State (9-6-3, 4-3-1 WCHA) saw his 1-0 lead evaporate in the blink of an eye with Tommy Parrottino’s power play goal six minutes after the start of the third period.
