Men’s Basketball Drops Two Games Against George Fox

The Pacific University men’s basketball team dropped two games over the weekend to George Fox with one game being played in Newberg and the other played in Forest Grove.
In game one, Pacific fell 115-88 to George Fox. After only trailing 54-49 at halftime, George Fox outscored the Boxers 61-39 in the second half to pull away. The Boxers were able to collect 44 rebounds in the contest with 15 of them coming offensively. Jacob Bolger led the Boxers with a double-double scoring 16 points while collecting 11 rebounds.
Game two was a close 103-100 contest with the Bruins coming out on top. The Boxers and Bruins exchanged the lead 5 times throughout the contest with the largest lead by either team being 9. The Bruins were able to shoot 12-24 from the three-point arc while the Boxers shot 14-31. The Boxers were led by a double-double from Colin Rardin who scored 18 points while also adding 12 rebounds. Joining him in double digits was Mario Mora who added 14, Ethan Moss contributed 13 and Isaiah Africano who scored 12 points.
The Boxers will take the floor April 23rd and 24th in two games against Linfield University.
