According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Cameron and Toomua met mid-last year while he was in Canberra playing Super Rugby.

Toomua and Perry, who has also played soccer for Australia, tied the knot in December 2015, but announced they had split last year.

“It’s with the greatest of respect for one another that we decided to separate earlier this year,” the pair said in a joint statement in July.

“We felt this was the right course of action and is in the best interests of each other and our current lives. This is something that has evolved and is a mutual decision.

“Throughout our relationship we have remained private and we ask that our space and privacy continue to be respected during this difficult time for both of us.”

But six months following the bombshell announcement, Toomua has unearthed a new romance.

One photo on Instagram shows Toomua and Cameron with two dogs, smiling at the camera. The Herald reports Cameron’s sister wished the new couple well on her own Instagram account last week.

Toomua has played 47 Test matches for the Wallabies, and has represented the Melbourne Rebels since 2019.

Perry was recently named the ICC Female Cricketer of the Decade, and featured in Wisden’s Five Cricketers of the Decade alongside Steve Smith, Virat Kohli, Dale Steyn and AB de Villiers.

The 30-year-old has represented Australia in 120 T20 internationals and 112 ODIs.
