While Paris Saint-Germain are yet to make an official announcement, Kylian Mbappe has broken his silence on Thomas Tuchel’s sacking.
The German-born coach was relieved of his duties on Thursday evening, according to multiple reports across Europe.
PSG ended the year with a 4-0 thrashing of Strasbourg which left the side in third spot, one point behind Ligue1 leaders Lille.
Despite PSG’s silence on the matter, Mbappe took to social media to bid farewell to Tuchel.
“It is sadly the law of football,” Mbappe posted on his Instagram story.
“Nobody will forget your time here. You wrote a wonderful part of the club’s history and I say to you: thank you, coach.”
A number of reports in France claim that former Mauricio Pochettino is set to become PSG’s new manager.
