Kaizer Chiefs shed light on ‘unpleasant trip’ while on CAF Champions League duty in Angola

Kaizer Chiefs believe they were subjected to mistreatment while on CAF Champions League duty in Angola after being subjected to strict health protocols.

Chiefs made history by booking a place in the group stages of the continental competition after defeating Angolan side Primeiro de Agosto 1-0 in Luanda on Tuesday.

Despite this the club revealed that even though they had undergone Covid-19 testing at OR Tambo international Airport before their departure they were again subjected to another round of testing on arrival in Angola.

Chiefs next face Maritzburg United and former head coach Ernst Middendorp in a league encounter at the FNB Stadium on Saturday.
