Illinois State football team ‘opts out of season’ after 1-3 start

PEORIA (WEEK) – The Illinois State football program is opting out of the rest of the 2021 Spring Football season. In a statement from Coach Brock Spack, he said the team will forego their remaining four games.

The team started the season ranked in the top 25 before falling in their first 3 games.

Most recently, the Redbirds won 26-18 against Western Illinois.
