The LSU Tigers enter Wednesday’s matchup against the Arkansas Razorbacks with an 8-2 record.

Arkansas comes in at 10-2 and have shown to be one of the best teams in the SEC this season. For LSU, the team is coming off back to back wins last week against Georgia and Ole Miss.

The Razorbacks lost to Tennessee last week before dominating Georgia by 30 points last Saturday.

Both teams are shooting well from the floor so far. But LSU has one of the best players in the entire country in Cam Thomas. Thomas is questionable for this game after he suffered an ankle injury just two minutes into the win over Ole Miss.

Here are five reasons the Tigers will take down Arkansas on Wednesday.

Outside shooting

For the season, LSU is shooting 36.5% from the three point line compared to Arkansas’ 35.6%.  When LSU gets hot from beyond the arc, the Tigers can become a tough team to stop on the perimeter.

LSU has plenty of players that can dial it up from behind the line in transition. Arkansas is still without senior forward Justin Smith. Though the Hogs lit up Georgia, the Tigers are a much better team than UGA is.

Getting good shot selection from the three point line and making a good percentage of those shots could help lift LSU to a win.
