FORT WORTH, Texas – The University of Houston Tennis team completed the second day of the TCU Tournament by winning a trio of singles competitions on Sunday.
Junior Sophie Gerits collected the Cougars’ first win of the day, taking down Mercedes Aristegui of TCU in straight sets (6-4, 6-3). Following her victory, senior Phonexay Chitdara and freshman Gabriela Giraldo won their competitions in dominating fashion.
