Team Strengths: A “run-and-gun” offense, 3-point shooting, free throw shooting and experience, according to head coach Zak Mathson.

Biggest Challenge: Guarding the post and rebounding, Mathson said.

Coach’s assessment

“I am so excited to coach this group of girls,” Mathson said. “Being a first-year coach, I am honored to have the team that I have. We are a good mix of upperclassmen that are veterans who have been challenged and battle-tested to win tough games. I believe if we take practice as seriously as games, with attention to detail, the sky is the limit. Our goal is to be a powerhouse now and going forward.”
