Ex-Blackhawks President John McDonough buys new Wheaton home

During his tenure at Wrigley Field from 1983 to 2007, McDonough introduced one innovation after another, including the annual Cubs Convention, which became the model for similar events for other teams. Following announcer Harry Caray’s death in 1998, McDonough introduced the role of the guest conductor for the seventh-inning stretch, a tradition that continues at the Friendly Confines.
