One of T20’s ‘go to’ man – Rashid Khan – has made sure to not only give his best for his national side but also for the several franchises around the world. The leg spinner also has a stellar record to show for it.
At the age of 22, the Afghanistan spinner is known as one of the best spinners in the world and he is also very handy with the bat. The right-hander recently showed his batting skills in the Lahore Qalandars victory over Peshawar Zalmi in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Rashid finished the match with an incredible ‘Helicopter shot’ that had sent the ball sailing over the deep mid-wicket fence for six. The shot had caught the attention of the cricketing world.
The official handle of the PSL tweeted about his shot, and captioned it “SO STYLISH”. And soon, England women’s cricketer and batting legend Sarah Taylor asked Rashid to teach her the way to play it. Rashid also replied to her and stated that he would surely teach her.
