Media-friendly Daniel Ricciardo has been asked almost every question you could think of during his decade-long Formula One career, but this was something else entirely.

Ricciardo was asked a series of questions sent in by fans during a Q&A with Dutch cable company Ziggo and it got extremely personal.

After a few softball questions about which Grand Prix he most wants to win (Melbourne) and his favourite pizza topping (diavola), a fan named “Laura” put the Aussie on the spot.

“Do you believe the story of the length of your nose? There is gossip about the length of your nose. It has something to do with other,” the reporter relayed, before Ricciardo cottoned on to where the question was heading and interrupted.

“Ah yes! Big nose … big toes!” he said.

But that attempt to laugh it off wasn’t enough, and the reporter followed up.

“Is it true?” he persisted.

Ricciardo was perplexed but managed to satisfy “Laura”.

“Maybe after F1 I get into another career,” he joked. “And then … (laughing) Stop. Stop.

“But I am happy and comfortable with myself. Thank you, goodbye!”

Ricciardo was also asked about his ambitions with McLaren after joining the British outfit this season.

“Ultimately the world title, that’s what I really want,” Ricciardo said. “This year, a trophy. A big one. I want to win again for sure. It’s been about three years since I won.”

Ricciardo will be hoping to find his feet in the McLaren after being forced to give way to teammate Lando Norris as the Brit charged to a podium finish in Italy last race.

The former Red Bull and Renault ace admitted to “accepting defeat for the moment” but he isn’t alone in struggling with a new car after an off-season switch.
