ELON, N.C. –
The Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) has announced the pairings for the 2021 CAA Men’s Tennis Championship, which will be held April 30 – May 2 at the Millie West Tennis Facility on the campus of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Va.
Entering the weekend on a three-match win streak, Elon (14-5) will come into the tournament as the No. 2 seed and take on seventh-seeded Drexel on Friday, April 30 at 3 p.m. The winner of that contest will return to action the following day, May 1, for a 3 p.m. matchup with the winner of match four (#3 William & Mary vs. #6 Charleston).
The semifinals will be played at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 1. The winner of those matches will then compete for an automatic bid to the NCAA Men’s Tennis Championship on Sunday, May 2, at 1 p.m.
The championship will be closed to the general public. No spectators will be admitted on Friday of the event. The semifinals on Saturday and championship on Sunday will be limited to team and player pass lists to keep the Millie West Tennis Facility within the limits of COVID-19 capacity. If matches are moved indoors due to inclement weather, the McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center will be closed to all fans.
