NRL legend Benji Marshall and his wife Zoe have received the best holiday present of all, sharing their baby joy on social media.
Zoe uploaded a picture of an ultrasound of what will be the couple’s second child, just days out from Christmas.

The images were posted alongside a lengthy caption in which Zoe explained she had been silent on social media over fears she would let the heartwarming news slip earlier.
“It’s really bloody hard for me to keep a secret. That’s why I’ve hardly been on Instagram or sharing stories because I don’t trust myself that it would just slip out,” she wrote.
“So it’s time. I’ve been incredibly sick and isolated for the last 11 weeks because of this little monkey. I’m sharing this and so much vital information I learnt from this season on today’s episode.
“I look forward to being honest and sharing the good, bad and really ugly bits of this time with you all. Mini marshall due day before my birthday (god help me another Gemini) June 2021.”
The three clips over the ultrasound are from Zoe’s podcast, The Deep, in which she confronts the trauma and struggles that people encounter but don’t often talk about.
In it she talks about Benji’s hesitations in announcing the pregnancy early after the complications they’d endured in the past.
“He’s just been very private in general,” she said.
The couple have endured a hard road on their journey to becoming parents with Zoe suffering severe stage-four endometriosis and believing she would never become a mum.
All that changed when Zoe turned 33 with the news she was pregnant with the couple’s first child, Fox.
The couple will now enjoy their Christmas break after spilling the beans and await the safe arrival of baby number two in June, next year.
