SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — The Augustana men’s golf squad finishes its regular season with a pair of tournaments in a five day span. The Vikings will compete in the Upper Iowa Invitational Friday and Saturday followed by the Central Missouri Mule Invitational Monday and Tuesday.
Upper Iowa Invitational
The Upper Iowa Peacocks are set to host the two-day tournament with one round of golf on Friday and one round on Saturday. The tournament will be played at the Sunnyside Country Club in Waterloo, Iowa. The course spans 6,756 yards, has four par-fives, two water hazards and a course par of 72. Central Missouri Mule Invitational
After a break on Sunday, Central Missouri plays host to the Mule Invitational at the Mules National Golf Club. Golfing gets underway on Monday with two rounds of 18 holes and finishes on Tuesday with one more round of 18. The course stretches 6,362 yards, features four par-fives and a course par of 70. Junior Jacob Lee leads the Vikings with 77.29 strokes per round and also holds the lowest round of the year with a 72 in the second round of the Warrior Invitational.
The tournaments serve as the final tune up before postseason play for the Vikings as they will next compete in the NSIC Championships starting April 16. The tournament takes place at the Shoal Creek Golf Course where the Vikings have already competed once this season.
