Aston Villa 0-0 Tottenham LIVE! Premier League match stream, latest score and goal updates today

Tottenham suffered a dispiriting north London derby defeat at Arsenal last Sunday, but Thursday night’s shock Europa League exit at the hands of Dinamo Zagreb set alarm bells ringing at the club.
Spurs carried a 2-0 first-leg advantage into the return fixture, but Mislav Orsic scores twice to take the game to extra time where he completed his hat-trick in a 3-0 victory to send Mourinho’s men crashing out.
Mourinho has repeatedly criticised his players’ attitude of late while club captain Hugo Lloris branded the performance a “disgrace”, hinting at deep problems within the dressing room.
With Mourinho and his squad under huge pressure to get a result at Villa Park, fans – and Daniel Levy – will also be watching closely to see how the squad reacts, and whether Mourinho remains the manager to turn things around.

Live updates
Decent work from Spurs to win a corner down the left – good defending from Cash. The visitors are growing into this now.

Spurs have lined-up in a 4-2-2-2 system but Kane is constantly dropping into the No.10 role, as he has done all season. Vinicius is a very different type of partner to Son though, much more likely to offer a focal point than run behind
Villa win a couple of free-kicks midway inside Spurs’ half. First test for Mourinho’s defence tonight, and they clear a dangerous ball in.
5 mins: It’s hard to say what Mourinho wants to see more today – he clearly needs three points, but arguably a performance with heart is even more important.

Spurs best described as 4-2-2-2, I think. Lucas pushing left, Lo Celso right.
The players are out at Villa Park, and we’re almost ready to go…
Mourinho suggests some Spurs players lack ‘mentality’
“My mentality, it may be strange for modern days, but my mentality [is the same]. I am from this school where we should thank god every day for the job that we have, we should show every day the values that belong to some guys.
“Not everybody has it. For me, this is the most important thing. Nothing changes for me because we lost two matches. Every game is to take it seriously. Every game is to win. You can lose, but there are ways of losing and there ways of being a professional. My dream always is that my people share my principles.”
Jose Mourinho: ‘I feel we need a change’
The Spurs boss told Sky Sports before the game: “I look for a reaction, obviously. Two bad performances, two bad results. I feel we need a change.
“We need positivity and we need fresh minds and we need two 16-year-old kids on the bench to prove the other guys that we look to the future too. If the kids have to play, the kids play, no problem with that.”
