Donald Trump’s Turnberry golf resort posted a loss of more than £2.3 million in 2019, according to its accounts.
Documents filed at Companies House for the US president’s hotel and golf course in Ayrshire show that it failed to turn a profit for the sixth consecutive year. In 2019 it had a turnover of £19,667,000 and made a loss of £2,307,000.
Since Mr Trump bought it in June 2014 for £39.5 million it has reported losses totalling almost £46 million.
It had losses of almost £10.7 million in 2018, £3.38 million in 2017, £17.6 million in 2016, £8.4 million in 2015 and £3.6 million in 2014.
