49ers legends Montana, Rice team up with Marshawn Lynch

Super Bowl LV between the Buccaneers and Chiefs is just days away and once again companies are forking over huge amounts of money — at least $5.6 million — to advertise in the big game.

Are they getting enough bang for their bucks? You make the call.

Over the next few days, we’ll provide sneak peeks at some of the ads and you can give them a thumbs up or down by voting in our poll.

This commercial for Frito-Lay has a distinct Bay Area flavor to it. Oakland native Marshawn Lynch, who played for Cal and the Raiders, is busy narrating a “Night Before the Super Bowl” tale, when what to his wandering eyes should appear — but the “Super Bowl legends of yesteryear.”

Among those legends are 49ers greats Joe Montana and Jerry Rice, who are seen wearing pajamas and munching on Doritos in a “49ers only” clubhouse while trying to keep a certain Cowboys quarterback out.

So what do you think of the ad? Let us know by weighing in via our poll.
